Lily Sanderson has been living on land for the past three years. Living on land? She is a mermaid princess from a kingdom in the Caribbean. Once she found out her mother was a human she wanted to go see what it was like living in the human world- and experience her high school years there too. From the first day of school she knew she would stand out- and not in a good way. And the only boy she wants seems to be unreachable, mostly because of her arch nemesis, Quince. For those three years all of her attempts to confess to him have been completely seized from her. Until Quince offers a deal to her so she could finally get a chance with him. But low and behold something goes wrong that sends both Lily and Quince scrambling to go find the solution to their problem-at the bottom of the sea.

I thought this books was very cute and fast paced. I loved the aspects of the book and of course the mermaids! Though sometimes Lilys denial throughout the book can be annoying it was a nice fluff read!
